Sick Again

Yep, that's right, I'm sick all over again. Damn my luck. I emailed Adam this morning to tell him I wouldn't be in and I realize now that the email made no sense at all:

"Adam it's 5 AM and I haven't slept or breathed all night... I might be dead when you read this. I do not think it would be wise for me to come in as Josh is now sick too and I am probably contagious so we might all die. Please don't make me come in... I beg you. There are order numbers in my book, there are people in my class, can you have someone put them together? I don't know who... does this make sense at all?

Call me because I'm confused now."

Josh is a total rockstar because even though he's sick too, he went out in the middle of the night last night for Vapo-Rub and tissues for me. Then, he went out this afternoon for soda and OJ. I love him more each day.

I'll have you know that the sick person's world is made better by Chinese food and Shrek Fruit Roll-Ups. Yes, they have to be Shrek otherwise they aren't green and really, what's the point if they aren't green?!

OK, delirium is setting in again, off to bed.

I hope your feeling better. We missed you in class today. I imagine Adam will now understand what you go through each day. lol

Sara, I hope you're feeling better soon. That's the funniest e-mail ever...you called in dead, ha! Your company is the most thorough I've ever heard of when it comes to hiring. They've checked every reference, all 6 personal and business, including my motha, and called to complain that one of my business references could not have been reached....kind of weird if you ask me, since I spent 3 and a half hours there pulling a marathon job interview. Are they going to surprise me and offer me a management position or are they just annoyingly particular? Dan said they weren't nearly as picky with him, that he was in and out within an hour. Was the last person they hired an ex convict or something? I'm awaiting a call from the DM at my last job so I can get her number, so I can have them call her....bleh. Just mildly perturbed, Michelle. :)

We're recovering from something similar as well. First him and then me. It sucked! Hope you get better soon!
