I'm about to go on a rant in 5...4...3...2...1
OK, so
these fuckers have decided to boycott
Target for not using the word Christmas in their advertising and I say what the hell because they are obviously confused on 2 levels:
Level #1 (as presented by my daddy)-
If you are a Christian, you should know that
Target has nothing to do with Christmas. In fact, most Christians actually hate how commercial Christmas has gotten (those are the cheap ones-joking!) and would prefer to go back to the "true meaning of Christmas" that people are always talking about. So why would a pro-family-values organization want to put the commercialism back into the holidays?!
Level #2-
Theses people don't seem to understand that there are many different kinds of people in the
Target-shopping population and many of them don't celebrate Christmas. Some celebrate
Hanukkah, some observe
Kwanzaa, there is
Winter Solstice,
Festivus, and I bet a lot of people
don't celebrate anything. Target is trying to appeal to all of these people, not just the religious right (or wrong, as I see it).
I say all of us who think the AFA are retards should go out in droves to our nearest
Target and throw money at them! Are you with me?
That has to be the dumbest boycott ever. These people obviously have nothing better to do.
Throw money at Target, two of my loved ones work there! =P

I was raised Catholic, but consider myself agnostic today, and I don't understand why anyone gets upset over sumantics. When someone says "Merry Christmas!" to me, I hear "I love you" or "Peace be with you" or "Have a good day!" People that hear "My god's better than your's" suck. Get mad about something real, people!
